News Release from Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection:
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has issued a waiver to testing requirements and movement restrictions related to porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDv) in Wis. Admin. Code chs. ATCP 10 and 12.
Swine moving into and within Wisconsin are no longer required to be tested for PRRS and PEDv as a result of this waiver. Import permits are no longer required for untested swine imported into Wisconsin. CVIs and official identification are still required.
The 2026 Monroe County Fair will be a non-terminal show.
Each child is allowed 4 tags per species or one more than you can show per species. Family tagging is allowed – siblings only!
